Hallo, PpPachy. Welcome to Wikipedia!
I've seen you've put a gorgeous picture of the AMR 33 on WikiCommons. It will be put to good use on the other language wiki's. Needless to say, any other pictures of French AFV's would be much appreciated!
Greetings, --MWAK 07:05, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks a lot! I have a few more, will add as time permits. -- PpPachy 20:34, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

French a/c
[edit]Nice to meet another person who takes interest in odd French aircraft. :) - Emt147 Burninate! 18:36, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hello :) I wanted to write the article on the LeO, but was too lazy to actually start doing it. Thanks for starting it, I'll try to add a few relevant points to it. PpPachy 21:48, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Back in January you asked about British air losses - if you include the shadowing of the Strasborg and attack on the Dunkirque on the night of the 5th and 6th I believe there were 6 in total, (3 Blackburn Skua and 3 Fairey Swordfish). Two Skua crew seem to have been shot down and killed at Mers-el-Kébir istelf, during a dogfight over the mine laying Swordfish on the 3rd, and I suspect it is this aircraft you have heard about. All other lost aircraft seem to have made it close enough to British ships to be rescued.
Always good to have another aircraft nut, and someone to provide a non-English speaking nations perspective :-). Winstonwolfe 07:00, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the update. PpPachy 20:46, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Hello PgPachy, just thought I'd drop in and thank you for your comments on the article. -- ZScarpia (talk) 09:33, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
LeO.451 designer
[edit]Hello. Designer entry is left for those who built aircraft themself. In most cases is filled in aircraft built in early period of aviation history or in ultralight planes. Aircraft from factories are not designed / built by one person but by whole teams. If you want to write about Pierre Mercier, write few words in "Design and development" section or write separate article. Regards, Piotr Mikołajski 12:46, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- Pierre Mercier has his own entry already, albeit minimal, but I do not see a point in having the "designer" line in the template when so few aircraft will have it filled, according to your criteria. PpPachy 12:52, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't developed those criteria, it's official guideline of WikiProject Aircraft. On this page you may find clear description:
designer = <!--only appropriate for single designers, not project leaders-->
- If you don't like it, talk about it on project's talk page and put some arguments why project leaders should be named designers of particular aircraft. Regards, Piotr Mikołajski 13:08, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- OK, thanks for the explanation, I have to admit I did not read whole template documentation. PpPachy 20:23, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Caudron, Insignia
[edit]thanks PpPachy, I didn't know that about the Finnish markings. I thought this machine was a captured example and painted in Luftwaffe markings. I was suspicious at first before I was to make the change but now am glad to know this. Thanks. Koplimek (talk) 15:57, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
