All-Time World Team
[edit]Ha ha. I don't see Beckenbauer in your all world team. Kingjeff 01:45, 7 March 2006 (UTC) I was too young too. I think I was only 2 or 3 when Beckenbauer retired. Kingjeff 02:04, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- Also very interesting to see Zubi rather than Schmeichel in it... -ChaChaFut 04:02, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

English football champions
[edit]When merging material from English football (tier one I decided against having a column listing the number of teams in the division on the grounds that it available in Football in England or the relevant Season in Engish football article. Perhaps a footnote might do the job. Oldelpaso 17:25, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
Sæsoner
[edit]Hej Poulsen.
- Me 2. Hehe. Kalaha 21:27, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
Kalaha 11:38, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Baldur's gate category etc.
[edit]Certainly not denying that having the ones that belong in the subcategory in the main category too is very pointless hence why I removed it from most. The reason I undid my the removal of the FR category with Irenicus is because of his role in the Forgotten Realms novels - FR literature that makes him canon, rather than merely an NPC of the game (whatever varying degree of canon you see that as). In this sense FR serves not only as an umbrella category but also as a category of its own - "FR canon characters" or somesuch, hence why Irenicus (and Imoen if she had her own page) is in both. Does that make sense?
The problem I've found is that, having not read the novel versions myself, and only knowing sketchy parts of its plot, I don't know which other Baldur's Gate characters are established in the novels.... I only know of those two, and with some certainty that there was outrage that neither Aerie nor Minsc WAS included. -Erolos 23:23, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
- That's true. But the logical extreme of that is that Elmnister and co. are included in the games, and thus they should be put only there, too. As characters in the novels, the ones who were featured are then put into a wider playing field rather than merely "Baldur's Gate characters".
- Tbh, whilst I think my preference would be to leave such characters in both categories (and add the others from that list back into FR chatacters cat - thanks for the info!), for the sake of the distinctions I said above, I'm not too fussed. If you would prefer to have them just in BG characters, as characters who been featured only in that specific set of novels OR the games, it's down to you. The only one who would then need to be in both, as far as I know, would be Abdel Adrian (he was mentioned in Lost Empires). :) -Erolos 23:46, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
- That's cool. Shall I re-add Xan, Xzar, Bodhi, and Sarevok to Category:Forgotten Realms characters? -Erolos 16:11, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Morten Petersen
[edit]Yeah, sorry, it just occurred to me (after you made the edit) that it would make much more sense to just put that note at the top instead of at the bottom with my terrible wording. :) – ugen64 23:37, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

Superliga 1992-1995
[edit]Houston, we got a problem. Kalaha 13:03, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Kalaha 15:40, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Monkey Island
[edit]Hi, I saw you moved Monkey Island (disambiguation) to Monkey Island, but now the old Monkey Island, which was about the Monkey Island series of computer games, article is gone - any idea on how to retrieve that? Poulsen 09:21, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
I moved it, but I did not remove it. It's not gone. Michael Hardy 20:29, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

Re: References in Ottoman Empire
[edit]About "Quataert 2": yes, this means the second page of the book. It's standard style as per the Wikipedia:Footnote3 system; I used the same style in another article I wrote, Turkish literature.
The main thing about reference styles, as far as I can tell, is that whatever system is or isn't used, the important thing is to be consistent within the article in question. —Saposcat 10:48, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- I just had a look at the refs in the Ottoman Empire article: it looks good—nice, clean, and simple. Well done. —Saposcat 10:52, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
List of Denmark national football team results
[edit]Hej.
Kalaha 16:45, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Hej Poulsen, I see you've done some excellent work on Team CSC. I actually failed it as a GA (but only just!) - it didn't read as well as it could have done so I've given it a copyedit. I couldn't work out what was meant by "classement" though, could you try to amend/translate/explain that? I am sure that it will pass as a GA in the near future if you can get that sorted. A couple of words of advice:
- In English Wikipedia, use "." not "," as the decimal separator (e.g. 49.7% not 49,7% - the "," is explicitly forbidden in the MoS)
- "Profile" can't be used to describe a person in English (e.g. you can't say "That cyclist is a profile"). Unless it is a piece of cycling jargon (I don't think it is, but if it is it ought to be included with an explanation) you could perhaps use "high-profile cyclist" or "star" to refer to a member of the team you currently call a "profile".
Keep up the good work, it's really nice to find an article that is so well-illustrated and referenced! TheGrappler 15:04, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- I slightly edited the lead, but the rewrite is a big improvement :) As a style thing: I've noticed one of your tendencies is to use long sentences using many clauses seperated by commas. I think (though my Danish is far from perfect ;)) this could be because of the way clauses work in Danish - in English, lots of clauses in a sentence tend not to come across so well. If you write a sentence with lots of commas in, perhaps you should think about splitting it up into two sentences, or maybe using brackets. Good work on the rewrite! Are all cycling team articles this good? TheGrappler 17:30, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm just curious - why did you remove all the line breaks? Imho, so it's less comfortable to read the wiki code. Alex ex 15:01, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Hej.
thanks!

About Mads Timm
[edit]I must state that our views on Mads Timm's conviction are quite different.
A country, which send a man to jail just because he happens to be in the same town driving when a another driver causes a accident, which harms a nobody doesn't suit a European country, which calls itself a democracy.
Timm was convicted because he was a foreigner and that is the only reason for his punishment.
A sentence of a year are also ridiculous and totally out of context. Denmark has in the previous year become known for it severe and hard sentences against reckless driving. A man got 2 years in jail because he accidentally killed 2 people and an unborn child in Copenhagen. 4 out of 9 judges in our supreme court called for a sentence of 1 year and 6 months, but a majority chose 2 years.
I was a conviction that was so hard that it scared drivers away from their business; so we now in Denmark need drivers in order deliver our goods. People are scared away from their jobs.
Timm’s verdict was 1 year and he didn’t hurt anybody.
I would say that it is only fair to call the verdict against Timm for xenophobia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Covergaard (talk • contribs)

RE:Landsholdsdragten
[edit]Hej.
