Speedy tagging
[edit]You are a new editor with almost no experience. You should not be tagging articles for speedy deletion. The WP:CSD#G11 tag you placed at Pediped Footwear was completely without merit. If you do more tagging in the future, you risk being blocked for abuse of process.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:31, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Bbb23: Hello, I get that I am a new editor but that article might fall short of notability guidelines and under unambigous advertising. Wouldn´t it be good for the Wikipedia to review it? Potpart (talk) 17:51, 23 October 2019 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Potpart. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Craig Drummond, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 06:48, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for reminding me, I understand Wikipedia policy. I would like to inform you that I don't have any relation with the subject of the article. Potpart (talk) 10:50, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- You've uploaded File:Craig W. Drummond.jpg as your own work. Where did you acquire the photo, if not from Mr. Drummond? Wikishovel (talk) 10:54, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- I get it from LinkedIn. I contacted him there as I want to know about him and also asked his permission. Potpart (talk) 15:31, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- That's not a photo from his LinkedIn. And if you're writing an article with his permission, then you have an obvious WP: Conflict of interest. Wikishovel (talk) 17:30, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- I contacted him for an interview and requested his photo to use in the article. This article reflects my perspective on him based on my research. I welcome anyone who wishes to contribute or challenge my views with facts and evidence. Potpart (talk) 07:53, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
