Respect other editors' contributions
[edit]Hello. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors on Senna Hegde. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Specifically:
- Do not add information, such as birth name or "script consultant", which is not verifiable in reliable, published sources.
- Do not change information, such as Anurag Kashyap's words, so that it doesn't match the cited sources.
- Do not remove sourced information, such as his approximate year of birth, years active, Gulf Cooperation Council (which is more specific than Middle East), "telling stories in 30-second spots", or the number of members of cast.
- Wikipedia has a Manual of Style. Avoid unnecessary capitalization, such as in professions, geographic adjectives, and job titles, per MOS:CAPS.
- After the first mention of his name, refer to him only as Hegde, as The New Indian Express does, and as stipulated by WP:SURNAME.
- Avoid unnecessary words, like "various" and "yet", that do not add meaning.

Date of birth
[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Senna Hegde, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that.
The 29 January 2016 article in The New Indian Express describes Hegde as a "39-year-old", which puts his date of birth between 30 January 1976 and 29 January 1977. When a date is uncertain, but known to be one of two years, it should be written as "(born 1976 or 1977)", per MOS:APPROXDATE. It's possible that Hegde lied to the newspaper about his age or that they simply got it wrong. That doesn't matter; Wikipedia is about verifiability, not truth.
If you can find another reliable published source for his date of birth, you are welcome to add it. Continuing to remove sourced information, however, is disruptive and can have serious consequences, including being blocked from editing. You have been trying for nine months to have an article about Hegde created. Do not make me reconsider my decision to accept a draft about a director who's only completed film has not had a theatrical release. --Worldbruce (talk) 15:21, 16 November 2017 (UTC)
The article Senna Hegde has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not a notable person
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Manthara (talk) 19:22, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
