- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>
, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References== {{Reflist}}
Warning
[edit]It appears that you are here to edit promoting a particular subject with scant regard for our policies (adding citation needed tags where there is a citation etc). If this behavior continues then your editing privileges will be revoked. —SpacemanSpiff 16:45, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
The article has only one citation for a single paragraph. The agenta in paragraph is not involved in single thing. So that's the reason I have asked for citations. spacemanspiff (talk · contribs) Poniatowski of leipzig (talk) 16:49, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Citations are ok . But the fact is the citation provided does not support all the claims in that particular single paragraph. The article was written with particularly selected harsh words that even doesnot upto Wikipedia standards and written in mocking tone. Poniatowski of leipzig (talk) 16:52, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- If you can't take the time to read the citations or understand the meaning of words then this is not the place for you. As for the mocking tone etc, I did not warn you on that. —SpacemanSpiff 16:57, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
This is the third time an user has accused me of sardonic edits. Pretty much these are clone IDs of same user.I am requesting admins to take serious actions against these users Ihaveabandonedmychild (talk) 18:33, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
It seems like lhaveabandonedmychild is the sockpuppeted Id of this ip user 103.203.228.107. since both ids shows interest in same areas .it must be subjected to sockpuppet. Poniatowski of leipzig (talk) 19:10, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
That's not sock puppetry. I don't use that ID anymore. Neither did I violate any policy except one(abusive fight against your sock puppet) for which I had served the temporary edit ban with that ID. Ihaveabandonedmychild (talk) 20:03, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
