Hermagoras of Aquileia

[edit]

Hi Polylerus. You are off to such a great start on the article Hermagoras of Aquileia that it may qualify to appear on Wikipedia's Main Page under the Did you know... section. The Main Page gets about 4,000,000 hits per day and appearing on the Main Page may help bring publicity and assistance to the article. However, there is a five day from article creation window for Did you know... nominations. Before five days pass from the date the article was created and if you haven't already done so, please consider nominating the article to appear on the Main Page by posting a nomination at Did you know suggestions. If you do nominate the article for DYK, please cross out the article name on the "Good" articles proposed by bot list. Also, don't forget to keep checking back at Did you know suggestions for comments regarding your nomination. Again, great job on the article. -- Jreferee (Talk) 17:39, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DYK list?

[edit]

You might want to make out a list on your userpage of all the articles you've created or expanded that have been included as DYK's. You're kind of high on the list of DYK'ers here. The list would make it easier to update your totals. John Carter 23:37, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Zipcodezoo

[edit]

Hi Polylerus - I saw you've been using Zipcodezoo as a reference on a number of pages. I've found a number of errors on this website, and would suggest it is best not considered a reliable source for information (I've been removing it from several [mainly plant] pages) - MPF 14:27, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I enjoyed your succinct new article. I couldn't edit the following to make it clearer: the Pope drinks to all and to everything, and the author transforms them all... I couldn't see who "them" refers to: all those present? "All and everything" would be more evocative if the reader were given some examples of recipients of toasts, to suggest the range of "all and everything". --Wetman 18:53, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP: Spain's To-Do list

[edit]

i found ur name on the list of members for WP:Spain (and im making improvements to some of the same spanish architecture articles as you). i didnt know who to ask but ill ask you: is it possible for a regular joe like myself to make edits to this WP's main page's To-Do list? it lists articles "to create" that are already created, and should be moved "to expand". these dont seem to be automatically generated by a bot and appear to need a person go in and manually update them. if that's so, let me know who does that, or if we all can. thanks. Ivansevil 14:40, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

actually i didnt send you an e-mail, i posted a comment on your talk page (same as this comment). in your reply about editing Spain's To-Do list, you asked if i have a "normal" address. well yes, cuz i got your answer at my yahoo account. i thought turning on the 'email' option when i first created my account meant a person could choose to mail me directly (which is how i got ur reply) instead of replying at my talk page. i usually tell people ill come back to their user to see their replies, but they reply at my user. i thought you'd do the same, then i get a mail. i still have to get used to how all this wiki stuff works. anyhow, i saw you revised the To-Do list, but i had some concerns: you deleted Herrerian, but it should have been put under "expand" cuz the spanish wiki has some stuff the english wiki doesnt. and im still working on translating Clunia. i'll be done soon so it can stay off. i also translated Cathedral of Toledo, so it's entry needs to read only "needs pictures" cuz i havent learned to put pix in articles yet. since its on the WP:Spanish Translation, im mirroring it from the spanish wiki. the list can stay as is, ill wrap up Herrerian and Clunia incognito. thanks.
