IrishGuy

He and OrangeMike murdered my account yesterday after anonymously griefing my entries, so of course I will attack him personally. Fuck you for siding him. If you are anonymous I will out you too. Maybe you should check into the assassination of my account yesterday before issuing threats to me. --contextflexed.

Hi Contextflexed, I've looked at several diffs and have asked Orangemike to clarify the situation to me. Still: Your behaviour today is/was inappropriate and the last/only warning still stands as is: do not use language and threats as you have and still are. It is not what Wikipedia is about, even if you feel that you have been punished unfairly or harshly. Thanks, hope you understand where I am coming from, Poeloq (talk) 23:25, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Contextflexed is a personal rant site. He also posts on Wikipediareview.com trying to out admins and other users: [1] and [2] He has been using anonymous IPs to add links to his website to push his POV. When they get removed, he goes on a tirade and threatens to out people's personal details. That about sums it up. IrishGuy talk 00:31, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi IrishGuy! Thanks for clarifying. I think we can all move on now - nothing to see ;-) Poeloq (talk) 00:34, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
No problem at all. :) IrishGuy talk 00:36, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Poeloq, I mean Ian Holton, I understand you perfectly, and kiss my ass.

IrishGuy, I am still on you. And get your facts straight. I started moving on Wikipedia Review after your anonymous and privileged editors started abusing their positions and trying to manage perception. You are indeed a slippery little weasel, but indeed, everyone you fucked over will have the benefit of knowing your real identity. You are a fucking liar about accusing me of anonymity, you being the queen of it yourself. Love it up while you may. There's going to be a lot of rappers, actors, game designers, and people you aced out priming to ream your ass online. --contextflexed

Hey contextflexed, I'm not quite sure why you think publishing my real name is such a bad thing - I never have or will make a secret of it. I even use it on Wikipedia :P And by the way, I wasn't aware that I had done anything that might justify me "kissing your ass". Poeloq (talk) 09:44, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

By my observation, if you were able to be taken separately from the complex of Wikipedia then you would seem less a nonsequitor. Wikipedia is expected to be full of mousy people would prefer that everyone act nicely and focus on quiet editing in a casually rule-based environment. Alas, you are embedded in an entity which has a set of rules which are only there for memorization and creative harassment of newcomers. And not merely newcomers, but also any user that the various largely secretive admins can troll out far enough to ban from the site so that their tedious presentation of obscure Irish card trick hucksters can grow under their careful gardening. I said kiss my ass because you took the word of a revert-whore who helped assassinate my account, and then chastized me to criticize said miscreant. Since the rules are "off" at Wikipedia, I am forced to assist Wikipedia in deciding to scrap its anonymity system. I am glad you do not choose to remain anonymous, but as I said, it is a nonsequitor, and you are but a microvolt in this bunko encyclopedia. --contextflexed

Contextflexed, I understand that you don't believe in anonymity. I don't know much about your case, you and the other editors involved. If you want it sorted out, I would recommend taking it to the correct places and maybe adopting a slightly friendlier tone ;-) On the point that you disagree with Wikipedia rules: Wikipedia is not your project, not my project but is a website run by a foundation that has given us the freedom to choose certain rules ourselves within certain boundaries. Song

Hi, um sorry if I don't post this in the correct place. However, I wrote the comment about the song at the end of the TV show Shark. I know it wasn't constructive, but I was hoping someone would edit it by adding the song title. I liked the song and couldn't find it anywhere. So, if you know what it was, let me know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jacobrsteiner (talkcontribs) 03:06, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

I haven't heard of the TV show, nor the edit you speak off. Sorry that I can't help you with this one...Poeloq (talk) 20:10, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

RE: London meetup

I'm extremely sorry for not turning up - I only just got your message today. Had I known about it before, I probably would have gone. :-( Onur (talk) 23:38, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

London Wiki Meet

Set a date in March? Give people time to plan? Gordo (talk) 11:46, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Just do it!! Gordo (talk)
I've proposed 8th of March. Will wait a few days and see what happens until Friday, so that I can announce before the start of next week. Poeloq (talk) 16:22, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

I am away from the 8th for a week, duh! Will come to the next gathering then. --Mapocathy (talk) 10:05, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Thank You!

Some people need to learn that all caps is hardly cruise control for awesomeness. I love how he's "warned me" for vandalism for reverting that whole "Timmy's" nonsense. What do you generally do when vandals strike back like that? -- Miwa * talk * contribs ^_^ 01:48, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

I must admint, I can't find my involvement in the process. We are talking about the The Pebble and the Penguin page, right? Poeloq (talk) 02:39, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Adminship?

I often see you revert vandalism at the speed of a bot, and you are also a good user, so would you like me to nominate you to be an administrator? NHRHS2010NHRHS2010 02:20, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Cheers, NHRHS2010. I actually had a message on my userpage until a few days ago saying that I am currently not considering adminship - for various reasons at the moment. Stay in touch and thanks for the offer, I'll come back on it once I am "ready" :) Poeloq (talk) 02:27, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Vandalism

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my userpage :). Seraphim♥ Whipp 11:32, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

No problem :) Enjoy, Poeloq (talk) 12:31, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Book/Railway looks like a page that's meant to keep track of articles, not an actual article. Did you mean to create this article in Wikipedia space, or in your own user space? If so, you might want to move it so it doesn't confuse readers. Thanks. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 16:12, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Elkman! That was a silly mistake I made, I moved the page and requested speedy deletion of the redirect. Poeloq (talk) 16:17, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Huggle User Category

Hi there. I have seen that you use huggle by the fact that you have automatically updated the huggle white list(it does this when closing huggle). I was wondering if you would add the category [[Category:Wikipedians who use Huggle]] to your user page so that it fills out and we know who actually uses huggle. If you do not want to you do not have to. I am also sorry if i have already talked to you about this or you no longer use huggle but i sent it to everyone that has edited the page since mid January. I hope we can start to fill out this category. If you would like to reply to this message then please reply on my talk page as i will probably not check here again. Thanks. ·Add§hore· Talk/Cont 18:27, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
