RE: Jennifer Government
[edit]Hi, and thanks for sending me a message. I'm really sorry I haven't been back to comment, I've had other things keeping me busy. But, now that you've reminded me, I'll go back as soon as I can and add some comments. I'll also respond more in depth to the other points you made on my talk page.
In the meantime, reverting edits isn't the best way to go. As it stands right now, it'll be reverted back.
If you want to see the abuse section reinstated, the best way to go about it will be to gain a consensus on the talk page or through a dispute resolution process. I did an WP:RFC to attempt to resolve the situation, but there's other options available as well. At this point, WP:DRN might be an option you want to look at.
My advice would be to work through one channel at a time, and give the process time to work. It's also a good idea to be neutral when you submit anything. Just give a brief overview of the issue. State what kind of dispute it is (source, notability, ect), but don't get into the details. You've made your case on the Talk page, and you will get a chance to respond there as well.
I realize this is a very sensitive issue and Wikipedia editing is extremely daunting at times. But be patient, and don't be afraid to ask for help. Grazedandconfused (talk) 21:24, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for the kind and wise advice. Po-tee-weet (talk) 22:26, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry that I didn't have much to add. McGeddon was really thorough, and I didn't see that there was much more to say. To answer your question, I did play Nation States many years ago. I tried to get involved in the RP aspects, but it never quite worked for me. I drifted off at some point after that. Grazedandconfused (talk) 06:27, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
- PS, if you haven't read through this WP:VG/RS, you might want to. It could be helpful in understanding how sources work specifically in the context of video games. Grazedandconfused (talk) 06:40, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for the reference! I had missed that so far and it is insightful. Po-tee-weet (talk) 06:49, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
Hey! Based on your edits to NationStates, I thought maybe you would be interested that I started a series of userboxes for the game. Feel free to add any or add your own!-🐦Do☭torWho42 (⭐) 06:24, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
