You are welcome, and thanks for your helping. I am not a native English speaker. Please correct Englsh of my contributions. Plumcherry 00:17, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]Hi! Thanks for your contributions regarding Japanese RPGs. It's too bad most of them will never be available in English, since many of them seem very interesting. Anyway, I've gone and corrected your English in most of your articles to the best of my ability, as you requested above. :)--Filby 13:43, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Ino01.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ino01.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 02:34, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Ikki
[edit]It's a minor detail, but I am curious as to the reasoning behind your change from "peasants" to "farmers" on the disambig page Ikki. Since this is taking place in the Edo period, in a feudal society with a strict class system, and particularly in light of the grand social changes brought by the Meiji Ishin and the accompanying attitudes towards society, I think it would be good if we paid attention to the language of such things. Hyakushō (百姓), translated most often as "peasants", is likely among the most respectful terms used to refer to the common people, the uneducated masses, in the Edo period and earlier; by contrast, Nōmin (農民), a term that likely did not appear at all until the Meiji period, is often translated to "farmer" and gives much more the connotation of an empowered and educated citizen, one of the People that make up the Nation. I imagine you were probably simply making a minor edit, of something you thought was simply a matter of being more PC or something like that, but for my part, I personally think that distinctions between (feudal) peasants and (free) farmers are important. Thank you. LordAmeth 18:04, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- Please see Japanese Wikipedia article "一揆(Ikki)"。 (Hyakusou Ikki(百姓一揆) at the early modern age is translated into English "peasant uprisng", But this is not an English translation that suits historical facts. Ikki is actually being guided by not only petty tenant peasants but also by affluent farmers who stand in a leading standpoint of the village, and it is suitable for Hyakusou Ikki(百姓一揆) at the early modern age that they translate into "farmer" that is the word to which the farm manager is indicated in English.)
- Actually, the most famous Ikki leader "Sakura Sougorou"(佐倉 惣五郎) is a affluent farmer, not a peasant. Thank you.--Plumcherry 04:05, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Thank you for taking the time to consider my question. LordAmeth 10:05, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Dragon
[edit]Hi! Thanks for adding the paragraph to Dragon. I could not quite figure out what you were trying to say, otherwise I'd simply fix up the grammar. Could you perhaps rephrase it with a link to a reference or a source? Thanks! Here is the text: "Japanese culture is also often expressed by Western people that it relates to dragons like as Chinese culture. It is uncomfortable for Japanese people because Japanese consider that dragon isn't Japanese mythical creature but Chinese one.". Kuru talk 18:19, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your advice and helping. I'm sorry for my poor English. I wanted to say....
- Western people think that dragon is a symbol of Chinese culture.
- And they often confuse Japanese culture with Chinese culture. They tend to wrongly use dragon as a symbol of Japan, too.
- Most Japanese think that dragon is not Japanese monster but Chinese monster. Of course, Japanese don't think dragon is own ethnic symbol like as Chinese people.
- Japanese cannot understand the reason why Western people tend to use dragons to describe Japan. --Plumcherry 13:58, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Deletion of GURPS Runal
[edit]I saw that you are the main contributor to the GURPS Runal article, so I'd like to let you know that it has been proposed for deletion. The editor nominating it finds that there not sources confirming its notability. Could you supply them? The article says that 20 novels are based on this setting. Could you give a source for this information? Happy editing, Goochelaar 12:22, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Me again. Is this page about the novels? Their actual existence is disputed. Independent sources would be even better. (I can't read Japanese, I am afraid...) Bye, Goochelaar 13:45, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Ok, I see. I try to provide you independent sources, but English sources is probably difficult. - Plumcherry
- Thanks for the addition to the article! You might also want to follow the debate about this article at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/GURPS Runal (2nd nomination), if you are interested. Happy editing, Goochelaar 13:09, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:ChaosFlare.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:ChaosFlare.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:23, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:ChaosFlare.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:ChaosFlare.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. --βandβ (talk•contribs) 10:56, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Nw siro.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Nw siro.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 15:42, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Alsff01.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Alsff01.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
