[edit]Hi, welcome to Wikipedia Thanks for your contributions to the Watford F.C. article. I see that you have used information from the British Newspaper Archive but have not actually added the appropriate citations within the article. It would be useful if this could be done, per the verifiabilty policy. General information about referencing can be found at WP:REFBEG and WP:CITE. As an example of a reference from the BNA, here is one that I added recently to the Frank O'Farrell article:
<ref>{{cite news|title=Now Leicester Move Quickly for New Manager |newspaper=Coventry Evening Telegraph |date=9 June 1971 |page=30 | url=https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/viewer/bl/0000769/19710609/428/0030 |url-access=subscription |accessdate=27 November 2018 |via=British Newspaper Archive |quote=Last night's United statement said that O'Farrell would take up his new post on July 1, the day after his present contract with Leicester expires.}}</ref>
Which would produce the following within the References section:
"Now Leicester Move Quickly for New Manager". Coventry Evening Telegraph. 9 June 1971. p. 30. Retrieved 27 November 2018 – via British Newspaper Archive. Last night's United statement said that O'Farrell would take up his new post on July 1, the day after his present contract with Leicester expires.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Again, thanks and welcome. Nzd (talk) 18:44, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
- Also, forgot to mention, dates should be in the format
2 December 2018
within articles about British subjects, per MOS:DATE/MOS:DATETIES. Thanks, Nzd (talk) 18:52, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at Watford F.C. shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Sincere apologies. I wasn't aware I had removed or edited a comment so i can asure you it was an accident of a beginner. I will be more careful in future. Pleatys dance (talk) 10:23, 31 October 2019 (UTC)
