News leaks are not reliable sources. That is why the page will remain at Phantom Ruler: Zoroark until further notice.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 17:45, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, here are some other helpful hints for your future on Wikipedia:

  • Never ever ever cut the content of one page and paste it onto another to move it. Wikipedia's copyright integrity relies on the fact that the editing history of a page be kept with the bulk of the page. By copying the content of one page and pasting it on another, you are effectively violating the copyright of everyone else who has written that page. When you have been on the site long enough, there will be a function that will allow for the page to move without copying and pasting.
  • Never upload images to the Wikimedia Commons unless you personally own all the rights to that image. Screencaps, movie posters, drawings by other people are only uploaded to local projects that have fair use rules like the English Wikipedia does. In the future, use the Special:Upload function here instead of at the commons. And even when you do upload images that have copyrights owned by other people, you must follow our rules for retention.

Keep this in mind for the future.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 19:35, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pokémon Movie

[edit]

As I posted on the talk page of the movie, the title is not 100% confirmed. Pokébeach got that supposed title and poster from Ebay. Ebay is not a reliable source when it comes to this. Heck, there's not much Ebay can be reliable in source wise at all. Also, the other reason I reverted it was because the way you moved the page was wrong. --Shadow (talk) 03:21, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Xatblk.gif

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Xatblk.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Non-free files in your user space

[edit]

Hey there Platinum Lucario, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Platinum Lucario/Xat.com. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

  • See a log of files removed today here.

Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:01, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Xat.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. • The Wayback machine is reliable in that it gives you previous states of a site. But it is absolutely no evidence of notability - for example, it contains my own websites which I would never dream of writing up here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:48, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, we know the movie has been given an official English title. However, we can wait till we update the image. At least until we get a slightly larger version than this.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 01:41, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Cirrocumulus floccus.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
