[edit]Hello, I'm ThaddeusSholto. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ian Dury, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Neither IMDB (see WP:IMDB) nor lyrics.com (see WP:USERG) can be used as sources. They are not reliable sources. Gerasimos Arsenis
[edit]It appears that much of the page for Gerasimos Arsenis is derived verbatim from https://www.hellenicaworld.com/Greece/Person/en/GerasimosArsenis.html. I will try to remedy this. This has been amended for political career under Prime Minister Papandreou, must still be done for offices held under his successor, with new sources added. Further information on the nature of his disagreements with PAKOS in 1985-1986 should be added.
IInfobox officeholder - wish to add additional offices to include all Ministerial positions as this infobox leaves various offices out. This has been done, with help of using sandbox.
Have set up a sandbox to practice making new articles.
The page for Gerasimos Arsenis stated that Andreas Papandreou was hospitalised for three months, I have changed this to two, in line with 2 sources. Plantswoman05 (talk) 15:22, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- It stated on the page that Andreas Papandreou as head of the party, PASOK, however credible sources say that he resigned as Prime Minster, not as party leader, and that it was for that that Gerasimos Arsenis stood on Papandreou's resignation. Plantswoman05 (talk) 15:43, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- Sources for Arsenis standing for PM vs Party leader: https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1996-01-16-mn-25141-story.html and https://time.com/archive/6927654/papandreou-resigns/ Plantswoman05 (talk) 15:44, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- Both of the above are also the source for the correction from 3 month to 2 month hospitalization. Plantswoman05 (talk) 15:45, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

It seems that the educational reforms Arsenis brought in were controversial, leading to prosecutions of students and legal changes to prevent protests about education reform, which is ommitted from his biography page. Will try to flesh this area out a bit.
The page published about him by the UN provides significant detail of his financial and economic thinking, which should be added to the page. http://www.garsenis.gr/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/SUNS.pdf
