What do you think about AIs on Wikipedia?
[edit]Hi Pktrisha,
Welcome to the Wikipedia community! :)
Did you know that there are numerous Artificial Intelligences (AIs) that support Wikipedia? I saw your post on Teahouse, so I wanted to reach out. Are you interested in participating in a short interview to share your thoughts about how Wikipedia AIs should work? It would only take about 15-30 minutes over phone or video chat. Could be a fun way for you to learn more about how Wikipedia works!
I am working in collaboration with Wikimedia Foundation staff to do this research, so if you decide to participate, your opinion could help build the future of Wikipedia. I’m personally contacting only a small handful of new Wikipedia editors, so please let me know if you are interested or have any questions. Hope to talk to you soon!

[edit]Thanks for notifying me but am a new user on Wikipedia and I think i messed up in the referencing as well as citing which nullifies my article but if you don't mind, I'd be glad if you could offer help which i can use to better my article and re-submit. ThanksPktrisha (talk) 09:54, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Pktrisha, the best way that I can teach you, is by showing you. Study the changes that I have made and then re-submit the article. Some pointers:
- The important references are those about the subject of the article. References about the subject make that subject notable.
- Material that is not referenced, even if factual, is inadmissible in a Wikipedia article.
- We do not have to list every fact about the subject. Keep the story pertinent, but interesting.
- With practice, you will get better. You improve with every new article that you write.
- Let me now if I can be of further assistance.
- Finally, how did you decide that I should be the one to help you?

[edit]Hello Fsmatovu, I have seen the changes you made to the article and am happy about the changes you made because it made me realise I had written very many things that were misdirecting the article from the original subject and facts. Plus I noticed you added some information that I had not time to research and find so thank you very much. About how I decided you should be the one to help me, I was looking at some of the Ugandan Wikipedia articles and you had been re-editing articles and making them better. You were atleast one of the most active people helping to make the articles earn their place on wikipedia which made me feel I should ask for help from somebody experienced. So do you think I can add changes(not that I have any) or I should resubmit it just the way it is? Plus am failing to re-submit, not sure how it's done. Lastly, am working on another article Nisha Kalema and am hoping to do something better, hope you can look through it too when I submit it. Am so grateful Pktrisha (talk) 08:01, 13 March 2019 (UTC)
