Re:What's wrong with my edit?
[edit]Hi, I appreciate your posting on my talk page rather than re-inserting the info. Thanks. You'll have to let me know which article specifically I reverted your edit in, since I revert many edits with week-by-week every day. However, generally, we don't list feuds until they are complete, per WP:RECENTISM. You have to judge if the feud will be important to a wrestler's overall career. IN addition, we don't list PPV matches until they have happened. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 15:46, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- It depends on what article. And references are always a good idea if they comply with WP:RS. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 18:53, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
I edited Batista page. I didn't feel it week by week since I just post important event like Batista attack Edge and let CM Punk win the title or his result from the Bash. It already happen and it didn't unending fued. I already reedited it and add ref site. I just want to make it right so please don't delete it and you should edit it as example what should I do so I can update other superstar page. Pitejung (talk) 03:35, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- I've reverted it. His brief feud is Punk isn't notable to his overall career. Think of it this way. Will anyone remember it in ten years? They'll definitely remember his feuds with Triple H, Edge and Undertaker, but Punk? Gavyn Sykes (talk) 04:08, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
I agree that he'd too small feud with Punk but he wrestling with Punk for title match in PPV. It should be in history book at least his title match and at least his part of let Punk wins the title, it should be in history book too. I agree with Fetal four way to edit out cause we won't have to remember it after 10 years but VS Punk at Bash and his part to let Punk cashed the bank should and his lost to Edge too. It should all be in history book.Pitejung (talk) 04:45, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- But Wikipedia is not a history book, it's an encyclopedia. See WP:NOT. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 04:56, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
OK I see your point. I'll try to learn it. With my understand now it look like this his match with Punk on BASH will not appear on both Pank and Batista right? cause it's not important to both of them but it'll appear on Kane page when Is He alive or death angle finish.Pitejung (talk) 05:02, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- Actually I think it is notable to Punk, but not to Batista. Punk never had a feud with such a big name in WWE as Batista. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 06:05, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
