I'm not sure what I did. I most likely created/edited that page during new page patrol, which I have been doing for the last half hour or so, and I put a speedy delete tag on a page, and also a notice on that user's talk page. Thanks in advance for answering my questions. Pirate452 (talk) 03:24, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- I am striking out the warning above because apparently the problem was either not your fault or just a mistake. What happened was that I found User talk:Raj jaipur with nothing on it but a {{db-bio}} tag on it, and nothing else in the page history, and it didn't make sense that someone would create a page with nothing but a deletion tag on it. So I didn't know what was going on with creating that page. But you can ignore that warning now. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 03:29, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- All right, thanks. :) If you notice any more problems feel free to contact me. Pirate452 (talk) 03:30, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
Coincidence
[edit]My username has pirate in it, our accounts got created about the same time, I'm an intermediate Spanish speaker, a new page patroller and a deletionist. Although I'm not a White Sox fan. I'm not stalking, I just got that from you userpage and thought it was weird. PirateArgh!!1! 20:53, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Haha that's amazing! New page patrol rules! I wish I could do it as often as I used to be able to. Pirate452 (talk) 22:42, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

New deal for page patrollers
[edit]Hi Pirate452,
In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
