[edit]Please revisit to reply at Wikipedia:Categories_for_deletion/Log/2006_December_28#Category:Victoria.27a_Secret_models. TonyTheTiger 22:16, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks!
[edit]I sincerely appreciate your comments on several CfD's. I am thankful I am not the only one who sees value in several cats and subcats nominated for deletion. I find your userpage quite helpful, too. Thanks so much. Happy New Year! Pastorwayne 12:50, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Hi. In case you didn't know, Oriente is an article about Cuba, not El Oriente in Ecuador, and your edit accidentally blanked part of the article. Xiner (talk, email) 12:44, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- There still needs to be a link, and a disambiguation page needs to be added. The problem is now that there is a little known term in Huaorani for which Wikipedia provides no explanation. Pinoakcourt 08:18, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Sortkeys on stub categories
[edit]Greetings Pinoakcourt
I've taken the liberty of undoing two of your edits, both regarding stub categories. A stub category like Category:Zambia stubs normally avoids sort keys in relation to its mother category. This means that Category:Zambia stubs will be listed in Category:Zambia under the sortkey µ which seems to be a rather old convention. It will give the same effect adding the sortkey µ manually. This rule only applies in this particular case and different systems of sortkeys are used further down the stub category tree. I don't know how it convention was established, but it is so widespread that I will recommend keeping it. Changing it would be a colossal task given that we have several thousands of stub categories around, and since the stub system has more to do with Wikipedia itself rather than the normal category system, I believe many stub sorters like this system. Happy editing. Valentinian (talk) / (contribs) 09:41, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Diabetics
[edit]Regarding the diabetic categories,[1] you might want to see what the Wikipedia Manual of Style says on the issue: "Be careful not to define a person or group of people by their medical condition. For example, seizures are epileptic, people are not." [2] Wryspy 07:35, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Central Asian peoples
[edit]Please keep in mind that there is no such thing as a Kazakhstani, Tajikistani, Turkmenistani, Kyrgyzstani, or Uzbekistani. The correct adjectives are Kazakh, Tajik, Turkmen, Kyrgyz, and Uzbek. Thanks, KazakhPol 06:54, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- The categories are not for the ethnic groups. Pinoakcourt 12:48, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Copyright violation in Royal Audience of Quito
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Royal Audience of Quito, by Andyjsmith, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Royal Audience of Quito is unquestionably copyright infringement, and no assertion of permission has been made.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
