User talk:PillowTreeManEater
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, PillowTreeManEater, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Bi-Zi Farms, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.
Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

The article Bi-Zi Farms has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Local farm with no historic significance and only run-of-the-mill coverage in news sources (all from the local media market).
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SounderBruce 23:12, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hello PillowTreeManEater. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:PillowTreeManEater. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=PillowTreeManEater|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Sungodtemple (talk • contribs) 23:46, 3 March 2023 (UTC)
- No pay. Just writing about things. PillowTreeManEater (talk) 00:05, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
- Your behavior makes you look like a undisclosed paid editor. Please comply with WP:ADVERT, steering clear of promoting article subjects. And you are writing encyclopedia articles, not pages. Sungodtemple (talk • contribs) 00:17, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll try to not go crazy when writing. PillowTreeManEater (talk) 00:20, 4 March 2023 (UTC)

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Request reason:
I was trying to add categories and link the articles I made so the tags saying they needed categories would go away, and so the pages would be cleared of any errors. I am not promoting these subjects, nor am I let alone being paid to make these. I tend to go fast and I just enjoy writing pages, and I didn't know that being paid to edit was a thing. That's not the case with me but I will try to only edit within reason, and have learned from seeing this that it's not acceptable for a page to be overly promotive. I'll try to be more neutral so nobody mistakes it for me promoting the subject anymore, and the only thing I will disclose is that I'm doing this for free. I read everything in the link you sent me and just want to go back to editing. I hope this all makes sense. PillowTreeManEater (talk) 00:42, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I don't know if you are paid or not, but I don't think you are yet ready to write articles about businesses, at least not until you have a better understanding of WP:ORG and sourcing requirements. Please tell us what topics you might edit about instead. 331dot (talk) 10:17, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Speedy deletion nomination of Roast Magazine
[edit]Hello PillowTreeManEater,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Roast Magazine for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Popcorn Cove moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Popcorn Cove, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Nomination of Bi-Zi Farms for deletion
[edit]The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bi-Zi Farms until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

To continue...
[edit]I really am not being paid for this, what way can prove this to you? I also have read those guidelines. I forgot passing mentions weren't eligible for sources, and from now I can double check the sources I use to see if they cover the subject thoroughly and that they're famous worldwide on other news sites. The stuff I wrote about clearly was not notable enough, so thank you for reminding me. I will try to look closer cause I got impatient those times when writing it.
But how can I prove this to you, I really am just doing this for fun and it seems you don't believe me.
To answer your question on subjects I will write about, I don't know. I guess just whatever things, businesses, and people I see don't have pages yet. PillowTreeManEater (talk) 23:24, 11 March 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Big Al's (disambiguation)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Big Al's (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
