[edit]Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Karikala, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 09:32, 19 November 2022 (UTC)

- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 19:57, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 15
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sengunthar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Telugu. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 15 May 2023 (UTC)

- There is no proof that Pallavas used Telugu language. Inscriptions are either in Tamil, Sanskrit, Prakrit. Pikachu 9988 (talk) 14:57, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
- Telugu was spoken by common people during Pallava era. But Pallavas did not use Telugu as a court language or in inscriptions. Only Telugu Chodas used Telugu during that period. Common people in Andhra region may have spoken Telugu. If that is the case there are many other languages which were spoken. Pikachu 9988 (talk) 15:14, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
- The common language section is based on what people spoke, not dynastic- or court-language! You still fail to understand these parameters. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 15:25, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
- Then list all the other languages as well. Kannada , Tulu etc... Pikachu 9988 (talk) 18:05, 27 May 2023 (UTC)

You have recently made edits related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. This is a standard message to inform you that India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan is a designated contentious topic. This message does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. Please stop edit warring
[edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Rasnaboy (talk) 18:29, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
- Looking at your edit history, I strongly advise that you do not make any further edits to the common languages list in Pallava dynasty without discussing the matter first at Talk:Pallava dynasty and waiting for consensus to be reached there. —C.Fred (talk) 21:14, 3 June 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Chola dynasty, you may be blocked from editing. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 17:21, 3 July 2023 (UTC)

Alert for India/Pakistan/Afghanistan related articles
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Request reason:
I did not add any new information in Renati Chodas page. I just linked some of the places to its wiki page and changed the sentence format. Could you please point out the specific edit for which you blocked me? Pikachu 9988 (talk) 07:33, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
One is provided below and another in the block log, but those were more like the last straw rather than being blocked for a specific edit. Many general problems from this account that outweigh the good contributions. 331dot (talk) 08:41, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
A culmination of problems, but the latest was the worst I've found so far.[1] Editing unsourced and cn tagged text while leaving it unsourced and still tagged shows lack of knowledge of our policies, specifically here WP:VERIFY. Note also the need for secondary and not primary sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doug Weller (talk • contribs) 07:48, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
