So... what exactly is the point of this page? How do I access other people's pages?Pika32141 (talk) 17:57, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page is for other users to contact you if they need to, like I just did below. Blake (Talk·Edits) 17:18, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Thanks, Blake. How do I access other User's pages, though, if I don't have the talk hyperlink?Pika32141 (talk) 17:57, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If you know their name, just go in the URL(en.wiki.org/wiki/User:____) and replace your name with their name. I am not quite sure what you are asking. Blake (Talk·Edits) 18:28, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I am also an Eagle Scout(as of 12/28/10) and in the OA. Its amazing how many people I meet here that are in scouts. Blake (Talk·Edits) 18:30, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks!

How is it I'd add a picture to a Wikipedia page? I've got some pictures I'd like to add, but I don't know how...— Preceding unsigned comment added by Pika32141 (talkcontribs)

You put [[File:ImageName.png|200px|thumb|caption]] on the page, where "ImageName.png" is whatever the name of the image is, "200px" can be changed to whatever size you want the image on the page, and "caption" can be changed to describe the image. You can also add "|right|" or "|left|"(I forget which) to make the image move to the right or left side, instead of the default. When you upload the image, make sure you put the rationale as that you personally took the photo, and it belongs to you. Blake (Talk·Edits) 15:34, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again

The "Did you know" section is only for displaying interesting tidbits about species with full, split articles. Ekans and Arbok do not have full articles. Thanks, Blake (Talk·Edits) 17:18, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

2019 US Banknote Contest

[edit]
US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here
