Vandalism
[edit]Please read WP:VANDALISM before accusing editors of vandalism. GimliDotNet (Speak to me,Stuff I've done) 15:30, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
Vandalism again
[edit]Please stop accusing editors of vandalism, when it clearly isn't. yIf you would also like to read to read the mos at WP:me the consensus is we do not use images in the info boxes that are not from the books. GimliDotNet (Speak to me,Stuff I've done) 05:08, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
- You really need to engage on article talk pages before adding low-quality images, Picture Master, especially if you're violating a project MoS. If the images aren't adding anything to the article, they shouldn't be there. Intothatdarkness 15:38, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]Read the fucking guideline WP:NOTVANDAL. Stop pushing your shitty fan-art and discuss the changes instead. There are more than one users reverting your edits. GimliDotNet (Speak to me,Stuff I've done) 15:36, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Picture_Master reported by User:GimliDotNet (Result: ). Thank you. {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. De728631 (talk) 16:13, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
Picture Master (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I am blocked for helping emprove wikipedia, adding pictures to the articles? The articles in other languages use fan-arts. I have to ask permission before adding pictures to articles?? And why I have to ask permission to GimliDotNet? Is he the moderator of Wikipedia??
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Kuru (talk) 00:00, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- While you were blocked for edit warring, i.e. for making more than three reverts to a single page in 24 hours, let me explain the following to you: Each edition of Wikipedia has its own guidelines and customs, so what is acceptable on other Wikipedias may not be appropriate over here. And there is consensus at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Middle-earth that fan art should not be used for Middle-earth articles. Let me also point out that it was not GimliDotNet alone who reverted you but Intothatdarkness was also against adding the image. If you still think that this particular rendition of Gimli benefits the article, please try to convince the other editors at Talk:Gimli (Middle-earth). De728631 (talk) 17:09, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
So, if we have a consensus, we have to delete the images on these pages (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dol_Guldur and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mirkwood) too, right?
- No. See the response at my user talk. De728631 (talk) 14:39, 31 August 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Roman siege engines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Testudo. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your edits
[edit]Stop wrongly accusing others of vandalism. The images you added are so outdated as to be useless, and of poor quality to boot. If you want to help, find something rather more contemporary, historically accurate and of better quality. Constantine ✍ 20:26, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
Palmyra
[edit]I dont think I would vandalize Palmyra considering that I wrote it ! you added a pic that is out of place, unnecessary and ruined the style of the article . This article is nominated for a GA and I dont understand why did you add this pic even though we already have two pics of that temple in the article.. When people undo you then its possible that you are the one who vandalized ! you cant call anyone who undo you a vandal ! why would you add a sketch of the temple in a section that deal with the Byzantine era ? did you even read the section before adding this pic ? We dont fill articles with pics just for the sake of it ! they need to serve a purpose and your edit served no such a thing
You even accused User:Cplakidas of vandalism ! this guy contributions enriched Wikipedia's articles about the history of the eastern Mediterranean like no other user ! yet here you are accusing him of vandalism even though a small review of your contributions clearly show that many of your edits are unwelcome !!--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 20:43, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
Sorry, but you and User:Cplakidas are the owners of the truth? Your opinions are always right? Do you own Wikipedia? That's your PERSONAL opinion. You could submit the mater for voting befor vandalizing. Picture Master (talk)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Roman army. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 05:47, 22 February 2015 (UTC)

Your picture captions
[edit]I assume that your native language is not English. Your picture captions make no sense. Competence in English is required to edit the English Wikipedia. Please discuss your edits on article talk pages for help with English before posting them. Thanks. Sundayclose (talk) 22:16, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
October 2015
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Sundayclose (talk) 22:18, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
Formal mediation has been requested
[edit]The Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Assassination of Abraham Lincoln". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 10 October 2015.
Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you.

Request for mediation rejected
[edit]The request for formal mediation concerning Assassination of Abraham Lincoln, to which you were listed as a party, has been declined. To read an explanation by the Mediation Committee for the rejection of this request, see the mediation request page, which will be deleted by an administrator after a reasonable time. Please direct questions relating to this request to the Chairman of the Committee, or to the mailing list. For more information on forms of dispute resolution, other than formal mediation, that are available, see Wikipedia:Dispute resolution.

STOP MARKING ALL OF YOUR EDITS AS MINOR
[edit]Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 00:52, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
- Either you ignored the above message or you don't consider it important. This is not a minor edit. Inappropriately marking edits as minor is rude and deceptive. This is your second warning. READ WP:MINOR. I'm now watching your edits closely. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing. Sundayclose (talk) 01:58, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
