Thispage is just about to be written since few minutes. Please live the people sometime, please, OK???--Piano4ever (talk) 11:41, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Genova and Dimitrov has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\byoutube\.com' (link(s): http://www.youtube.com/GenovaDimitrov) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 12:26, 11 January 2009 (UTC) OK, I understand about YouTube, but please DON'T DELETE the whole article. Thanks!--Piano4ever (talk) 12:29, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

spam

[edit]
  • Genova & Dimitrov is a German piano duo, considered one of the world's finest and most successful young ensembles. by whom? no independent verifiable reference, spam/POV/vanity
  • the sensational international concert career of the Genova and Dimitrov duo began with winning all the major piano duo competitions no independent verifiable reference, spam/POV/vanity
  • Since then the duo has performed to great public and critical acclaim no independent verifiable reference, spam/POV/vanity
  • Duo has appeared in countless radio and TV broadcasts on all continents - Where in Antarctica?
  • In 2005, for their exceptional artistic achievements, the duo was awarded the honorary citizenship by the German government. no independent verifiable reference

There's more, but that's enough to indicate the problem. I've also just realised that most of the text is copied verbatim from here, so it's also a copyright violation (copyright © 2002-2012 Genova & Dimitrov Media). jimfbleak (talk) 15:42, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think you misunderstand. Copyright violations and spam are unacceptable and are deleted without discussion per speedy deletion guidelines. You also appear to think that it's for me to research and reference your article - actually it's your responsibility if you want it to stay (in a neutral non-copyright version of course). I'll get round to looking at the other items you think should be deleted, but one thing at a time. jimfbleak (talk) 15:59, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I've deleted the image you took from www.snomusic.com and gave a fake licence. Please stop using copyright material jimfbleak (talk) 15:51, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:CIVIL the picture in your "article" was taken from here, which claims copyright, but you claimed it was your own image (no camera metadata suggested it was not, so a quick search found the web site) jimfbleak (talk) 16:03, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've looked at the other duos, and I think you are right about at least some needing to be deleted. They're not as clear-cut as yours, so I might wait a while before having a better look. jimfbleak (talk) 16:10, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, Wikipedia takes a hard line on copyright, but if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) (which includes commercial use), you can of course use it. You just need to leave a message explaining the details on the article's talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
There is no reason why this duo should not have an article, but you have to write it yourself, in your own words, fully referenced, and in an encyclopaedic neutral style. I restate - it is pointless to discuss proposed deletion of copyright or spam material, since its deletion is non-negotiable. I look forward to seeing a proper article on this duo from you jimfbleak (talk) 16:29, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure what the problem is. Just write your new text and save it here as a new article - I've not prevented recreation. Incidentally, I've despammed two of the articles you listed, may do the others tomorrow jimfbleak (talk) 16:43, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
