Category names
[edit]Just FYI the names of categories such as Category:MIT CTP alumni should generally follow the name of the article they're based on, which in turn usually means spelling things out in full. I've put that one and the faculty one in to be renamed. Le Deluge (talk) 12:43, 30 December 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Center for the Fundamental Laws of Nature
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Center for the Fundamental Laws of Nature requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. smileguy91talk x my huckleberrying 03:34, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Enrico Fermi Institute, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Relativity (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:24, 5 January 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Your recent edit appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. [edit]Physicists
[edit]Thanks for creating some pages for these researchers! You might want to include more content about their work, rather than just seeming CV style. That would allow you to place single references for discrete ideas, rather than a more-general sentence with a ton of refs bunched together (see WP:REFBOMBing). [edit]Hi Physics-in-theory! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
