Hello, Here are some more detailed comments that I had for the assignment where you edited the usage-based models page (I am only posting it onto the talk page of one group member per group if I have detailed comments for the group):

The page contains a lot of information and the concepts seem to be well cited. However, since the topic of the page is "usage-based models of language", I think it would be better for the first sentence to talk about that. In general, this page was hard to follow and I think more explanation is needed especially since there are so many concepts mentioned that are not so commonly known. eg. since the students wrote that "West Coast cognitive functionalism (WCCF) played a major role...", it would probably make it easier for the readers if they elaborate what WCCF is about instead of moving on to its critical points. The section on disciplinary roots could be an interesting addition but would be better in my opinion if the page had more content actually going through the usage-based models and explaining what they are. In general, although information-rich, the prose is not clear making it hard to grasp the main concept of the article. Siewyeng (talk) 08:24, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
