Hi, Phwriter20! I just wanted to let you know that I have undone your changes to Joel Osteen. It's important to preserve quotes exactly as spoken for attribution and verifiability's sake. Also, Wikipedia has a policy about linking which says that any given article needs only to be linked once after the lead (and sometimes in seperate elements such as tables). Feel free to let me know if you have any questions on my talk page, or ask at the Teahouse and someone will respond there. Happy editing, Perfect4th (talk) 14:31, 26 July 2022 (UTC)

Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Phwriter20, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Draft:Kelah Kay, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Muhandes (talk) 12:04, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Emski. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Your articles created Kelah Kay and Emski are not suitable to be on Wikipedia. Gabrielt@lk 22:24, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Emski. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Reference of your actions. Gabrielt@lk 17:08, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Gabriel601. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bole festival, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Gabrielt@lk 17:19, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
An article you recently created, Emski, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Articles for Deletion Discussions
[edit]Hello, Phwriter20,
Every day on Wikipedia, hundreds of articles are nominated for deletion, either through week-long deletion discussion like at AFD or for speedy deletions which happen pretty much immediately. These deletions happen for a variety of reasons like copyright violations, advertising but most often, because of a lack of notability by Wikipedia's standards. I know it's disappointing to have articles you created be nominated for discussion but it is not a good response to cast aspersions at other editors as if their nominations were questionable or was done for an exercise of power, as you seem to imply. Deletion occurs because of Wikipedia policies and guidelines and it is incorrect to think of it as personally directed at the article creator.
Just because an article has been nominated for deletion, doesn't mean that it will be deleted. It means that it will be considered for deletion over a week-long period. What you can do at this point is to participate in the AFD discussion in a constructive way, arguing why the article subject is notable and try to address editors' concerns by improving the article.
If you have questions about editing on Wikipedia or its deletion policies, please bring them to the Teahouse where experienced editors can offer you answers and support. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:58, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
