This is very cool! I'll keep an eye on it here and expand it as I get some time. Unfortunately, I'm most familiar with Buffy, which you seem to have covered fully. :) One suggestion I'd have is that you can merge some entries, since they take place in the same fictional universe and (hopefully) play by the same rules. For example, Angel could be added to the Buffy entry, and Interview With the Vampire can be in the same entry as Queen of the Damned. This could help shorten the table, which is already getting quite big! Phronk 14:28, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

The Bount in Bleach (manga) are very very similar to vampires, but... they aren't. They don't suck blood; they eat the souls of the dead, or, recently in the storyline, the living. Some of them have appearances resembling traditional depictions of vampires, but not all of them. I don't know if you would want them to be included or not.
It would look something like this, although some of them are probably wrong because I didn't bother checking if I was unsure:

Also there are a race of vampires in the Ringworld sci-fi novels of Larry Niven, part of his Known Space stories. They appear in the second novel and war against them makes up the bulk of the third novel. The Ringworld is a "ring" around a sun peopled by offshoots of the human race. Not sure if this fits in with the comparison you're working on. It's been a while since I read these books but I believe they lure prey with lust inducing pheromones, have fangs, drink blood, and have aversion to light and possibly water. I don't think they turn people. Presumably someone with the sci-fi wikiproject will have more info.
