My research topic has to do with chemical waste disposal. The first Wikipedia article I would like to contribute to is the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act article. The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act article seems to have very basic information and could benefit from some expansion, and it needs additional citations. I would also like to contribute to the article called Hazardous Waste. The article is in need of more citations and the article could benefit from more general information. Finally, I would like to contribute to the article called Chemical Waste. The Chemical Waste article needs to have its references updated and the article mainly talks about laboratory waste and needs additional information on other aspects of chemical waste. Monsanto
[edit]Hi! It looks like your addition to Monsanto was removed by Zero Serenity, who stated that the content was fine for the main article on Agent Orange, but not on the corporation's page. I think that the basic gist is that this is content that is pretty specific and as the company was only one of several that made the agent, it's a little too specific for this page. I've pinged Zero Serenity so they can give a bit more feedback as well. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:37, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
- Oh! A quick note - Monsanto is a page that is currently under discretionary sanctions, likely because its subject matter is so controversial. Because of this, make sure that you don't repost any of this content without discussing it over with Zero Serenity and other editors first. The reason for this is that while reposting the content without discussion is seen as a form of edit warring on all Wikipedia, it's something that is less tolerated on pages that are under sanctions. To sum it up very basically, you have to be especially careful with everything (content, sourcing, etc) with pages that are under sanctions because there's less leeway on these articles. - Ping received. Nothing to add. Zero Serenity (talk - contributions) 21:56, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
