Midterm Assignment
[edit]I plan to edit the article on the Copyright Act of 1909, hopefully to provide more context on the effects of the act and some cases that it has affected. I also intend on cleaning up the page to follow the format of other cases, such as adding the informational side-bar on the right. There is definitely a lot of information that can be found on this Act, and it's impact. This article is in no way up to par with the rest of the articles that have affected copyright law in the United States, besides having the image that demonstrates how copyright licenses have expanded through time. There have also been no edits whatsoever to this article since May 2011, and before that, December 2010.
Some things I may edit:
- Show how the wording of the act has changed
- Court cases affected
- Transition into the 1976 Copyright law
- Improve aesthetics
- "See Also" section with notable other wiki pages
