Chronology of Warcraft II
- The Fall of Azeroth was at the end of Warcraft: Orcs & Humans
- "The Orcs have decided to conquer Lordaeron, in what is known as the Second War" describes events after Warcraft: Orcs & Humans but before the Orcs' attack on Lordaeron, which is described in Warcraft_II#The_Second_War
- "In the Second War the Orcs are successful at first, but the Humans and allies take the initiative ... the Alliance destroys the Portal" is described in the backstory of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos --Philcha (talk) 15:26, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Possibly:
- The files that have descriptions are in present case, e.g. "is described in the backstory of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos".
- Events in the backstory are always in past tense, e.g. "The Orcs decided to conquer Lordaeron, in what became known as the Second War". --Philcha (talk) 08:37, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
PR
I just have one question about your PR, by saying "Please don't respond until I ask", does that mean not to make the edits on the article or reply on the PR page. Mr.Kennedy1 talk 12:31, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Oh, and for the copyright violation, that was delt with a few weeks ago, it turns that he copied it from wikipedia. See Talk:Phil Taylor. Mr.Kennedy1 talk 12:33, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Done with PR
I am done with your PR, there are a couple of issues though that are marked with ✗ Not done and a reason. Mr.Kennedy1 talk 19:33, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Master of Orion II
Please have a look at the bottom of Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Master of Orion II: Battle at Antares/1. --Philcha (talk) 08:14, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
- Done. "The game had a GAR and passed, by Teancum" is inaccurate: Teancum opened a community GAR, and improvements to the article satisfied his/her concerns; that does not mean the article passed GAR, because it was not an individual reassessment. Your suggestion to improve the article using a 1996 review and 2000 (retro)review are good. Articles can be renominated at any time, so you do not need to rush. Geometry guy says at [User_talk:Geometry_guy&oldid=381149701 Six days] that "I'm trying to comment from the perspective of what a curious reader may want from the article". That is what I've always aiming for with Master of Orion II. --Philcha (talk) 20:18, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Chess FAR
Hi Philcha - You can see the Chess FAR in two different ways. First, the template at the top of the article talk page has a link through "leave comments" which goes directly to the review. It's basically the same template as the FAC one, so I'm not sure what you mean by it "gets in the way". Could you explain further? Another way is to scroll through the FAR page, just like with FAC, everything is transcluded in full. As far as moving it goes, I'm hopeful that we won't have to. If editors decide that the article has been returned to FA status, it can be kept before going to FARC, and there's not much difference in an article sitting and being worked on in the FAR section or in the FARC section. At this point, the article is being actively worked on, so it will be left at either FAR or FARC for as long as it takes for the editors to bring it back up to par.
Is there a reason that you are so eager for the article to be moved? You are welcome to leave comments in the FAR section. Or, if the problem is the template on the article, then working to bring the article back up to status is the quickest way to get the template removed! Just as an FYI, I have removed your post from the FAR page, because it isn't the place for comments. The proper place for discussion would be on the talk page at WT:FAR. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Dana boomer (talk) 10:15, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not eager for Chess to be moved from FAR to FARC, but IIRC the FAR started about 2 months ago, and I guessed ( !! ) that FARC may start in the near future. If I'm wrong, I'll be happy about that. --Philcha (talk) 12:51, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- Nope, less than a month ago (August 3). It's fine to stay where it is for now - it's just if work stops completely that it'll be moved. Dana boomer (talk) 14:11, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- Many thanks, Dana boomer. WikiProject Chess are working it now. --Philcha (talk) 18:14, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Retiring
Are you leaving Wikipedia? Mr.Kennedy1 talk 07:34, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yes. WP has been giving me hassle, but don't worry, none of it was from you :-) Can you tell me or know someone who can tell me the semi-retired and retired banners. --Philcha (talk) 10:41, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
- It's sad to see you go, you will be missed. Here are the codes for the banners:
- Retired –
{{retired|date=31 August 2010}}
- Semi-retired –
{{semi-retired|date=31 August 2010}}
- And before you go, this is for you (I couldn't find one for PR):
