- Notability has very little to do with it - if the person meets GNG, then they're notable. That's why criterion number one is that the person have a WP article. The requirement to get on the list after that is proof of membership. That proof has to come from a reliable source, and without that, it's no go. Otherwise we would have every person who anybody thought was a Mason on the list. We also don't do appendant/concordants as proof, because for example, Ronald Reagan was made an honorary Shriner, but he was never a Mason. Bill Clinton was DeMolay, but never joined Masonry.
