A tag has been placed on The Pharmacy Practice Research Trust, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Arbiteroftruth (talk) 15:19, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have added this text to the Talk:The Pharmacy Practice Research Trust as well: Simply removing the invitation for contact is not enough to make the article encyclopedic. Without sources other than the organization's own web page, you will not be able to assert any notability for this organization. While the organization may do good work, Wikipedia is not intended as a place to promote the good works of others, but rather as a place to describe items and organizations of some notability. If you can find references, journal articles, etc. from the general Pharmacy community referring to this organization, that will strengthen your article.WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:44, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Hello

[edit]

If I came across as too uncaring earlier, I apologize. I would like to thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia, and I would also like to ask you if you are connected to the The Pharmacy Practice Research Trust? If you are connected to them, it might be better if other editors make the edits, because of COI. Arbiteroftruth (talk) 15:49, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
