Request to userfy Captain Janks
Since you were the deleting admin, could this article be userfied under my username, along with history and talk page, for me to merge into Wack Pack? Thanks. --Lexein (talk) 02:12, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for contacting me. There was nothing relevant on the talk page ("This article has been tagged for nearly a year for it's lack of references. If reliable 3rd party references cant be located to support the notability of this person, it needs to be removed"); I have moved the article to User:Lexein/Captain Janks - when you have finished, let me know (or use CSD) so it can be deleted. Regards, PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 10:02, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for the prompt userfication! Good raw material from which some will easily be reliably sourced. However, it looks like at some point in its past it had been text copy/pasted, rather than wikitext copy/pasted, so at least 2 refs are gone save [1] and [2] remnants. Any chance of looking back a rev or two for <ref> tags? No rush. --Lexein (talk) 20:14, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- I've taken the step of adding __NOINDEX__, verifying the proper meta tag creation, moving the page and requesting speedy deletion of the redirect in order to try to break search crawling. --Lexein (talk) 20:24, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- You have the complete history of the article, so if you can't find it then it's not there! Regards, PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 10:28, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- Doh! --Lexein (talk) 11:28, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
- I think I've wikignomed the article into WP:GNG notability (not my original plan), but I'm aware some trimback is needed. Thoughts? --Lexein (talk) 22:42, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
