Linda Crew edits
[edit]Hi Pferrete. On the article for Linda Crew I added an internal link to the Historical novel article. While in the process, I apparently undid the Children's lit portal you had added. Sorry, my mistake. Now that I think of it though, is there a way to tie that portal to her two titles which actually are chidren's books, the Nekomah Creek duo? The Young-adult fiction titles are for older readers, with teenage characters and subject matter not necessarily appropriate for younger children. I found that the children of the river article previously described this as a children's book, so I made the change there. Subject matter of war, refugees, Cambodian holocaust, etc make this clearly not a children' book. (Full disclosure: I'm the authors's husband, not that has anything to do with this material. I'm trying to make the articles as clear as possible). Hdcinore (talk) 05:38, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Hungry?
[edit]I know it isn't Friday, but here's something to much on anyway:
Lionelt has given you a McDonald's Filet-O-Fish sandwich! Filet-O-Fish sandwiches are very popular during Lent and promote WikiLove. Hopefully, this one has added flavor to your day! Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a Filet-O-Fish sandwich, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.
Spread the goodness of Filet-O-Fish sandwiches by adding {{subst:Filet-O-Fish}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message!
How's it going?
[edit]Hey Pferrete! I just wanted to drop by and say hi and see how you are doing? Working on any cool new lit related articles or projects? Talk to you later! Sarah (talk) 20:27, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, right now I'm pretty busy with other things so I haven't been working here so much. My last big project was on Jennifer Armstrong (I used to love a trilogy of hers as a kid) but since I'm taking a course in African American literature I might start looking into related authors after I have more time. Thanks for checking up on me, I appreciate it! Pferrete (talk) 02:29, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
Smile!

Saying Hello
[edit]Hi, Pferrete, I saw your entry at the Children's Lit Project and thought I'd stop by. I've been writing articles for WP since about March. Most of them are related to the Newbery award or other children's books/writers. I see you've been to the Teahouse. I love it there, they are so helpful. If I can help you in anyway, or you just want to say Hi, please stop by my talk page. Tlqk56 (talk) 18:04, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
Liberty in North Korea
[edit]Hello Pferrete - I made numerous edits to the Liberty in North Korea article, and I noticed you posted something earlier this year in the talk page about POV. I currently have a peer review request pending, and would appreciate any honest feedback. Thanks! Tonystewart14 (talk) 05:08, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
