[edit]

Hello, Peterhowitt, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} and your question on your user talk page, and someone will show up shortly to answer. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Another guideline you may want to take a few minutes to look over is Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.
We hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! --Onorem 10:37, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Dangerous Parking (movie), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 21:53, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. As a member of the Wikipedia community, I would suggest you try to follow Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy as much as possible. Thank you for your contributions. --KZTalkContribs 11:15, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confirming your identity

[edit]

Hello Mr. Howitt, there is an ongoing discussion here regarding your identity. Since anyone is free to create an account on Wikipedia, some editors have brought up concerns over possible impersonation. If you would be so kind as to send some verification or proof of your identity to info-en-o@wikimedia.org, it would be most appreciated. Please note that your account may be temporarily blocked from editing, pending verification, in order to mitigate any potential concerns. Thank you for your time. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 11:40, 10 April 2007 (UTC) (P.S. I am commenting here as a fellow Wikipedia contributor, this is not any sort of official statement, nor am I any sort of representative)[reply]

March 2008

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Antitrust (film). When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 23:17, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Antitrust (film), without explaining the valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 12:52, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:DPPoster.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:DPPoster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.
  • If you believe the bot has made an error, please turn it off here and leave a message on my owner's talk page.

Thank you. DASHBot (talk) 05:33, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Flaming Pie Films requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
