Please read WP:NSONGS before you re-create the article. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 03:53, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In general we, the WP:Wikipedians, should create articles when the subject of the article (e.g. a song) passes the minimal criteria of the WP:Notability guidelines, in this case the "WP:GNG". When a song has charted (WP:GOODCHARTS), has won an award, or it has been covered by another artist (also notable), an article might be created. This article should mention at least one of the three points above, and should be accompanied by a reliable source (Billboard, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and many others). Note that there are very rare cases in which an article not necessarily needs a chart, a cover or an award. WP:NSONGS starts with "All articles on albums, singles or songs must meet the basic criteria at the notability guidelines", therefore, any article that satify the GNG criteria may exist, but they need to have many independent sources, D.S. (song) and Suga Mama are two examples. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 05:10, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
