WikiProject Golf
[edit]Hi Peter Dennis
I thought that a way to further improve the golf articles on Wikipedia is for the whole project to work together towards a goal. An example of this could be a certain number of good articles in so many months, or to create the project's first ever featured article. If you are interested, come to the talk page and discuss it. And hopefully through this the project can continue to work towards several goals in the near future.

1985 U.S. Open
[edit]Your edit here[1] is partly incorrect. Dennis Watson didn't post his final score while the leaders were still minus four. Watson was playing in the third to last group. By the 12th hole both Chen and North were back to minus one. Dave Barr was minus three(and then made bogey at 13) and all these players were just a couple of groups behind Watson....William 15:28, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 4
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Men's major golf championships, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Tom Watson, Craig Wood and Jason Day. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. [edit]Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Neil Kulkarni. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. ... richi (hello) 18:49, 8 October 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Peter Dennis, please note the World indoor Bowls shows 6 singles, 6 open pairs and 2 mixed pairs gold for Marshall so 14 in total. Many thanks Pipesmoking Legend (talk) 10:34, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
That needs checking against the table on this page then, which is only showing 5 ooen pairs wins. Rogin Lottier (talk) 11:31, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
