References needed for 1 ISR Bde

[edit]

You made changes to 1 ISR Brigade without any references. Please kindly provide referencs for a) The new Commanding Officer b) that 21 and 23 SAS (reserves) are no longer part of the brigade and where they have moved to.

Thanks

Unfortunately gulabin (mackie) left out a line of text from an official document that stated the future location for Buczaki. I’m aware that he has been in post since Jul 2018.
Regarding the two units that I removed I am not at liberty to indicate where they have gone other than they are no longer part of the orbat for 1 ISR Bde PeterT29 (talk) 15:50, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Regardless of what you are "aware of" personally, you can not add or change content unless it is supported by a reliable source, otherwise your edits are considered to be original research and need to be removed.
As for you your cryptic little comment about "not being at liberty to say"... we get that all the time. People just trying to impress everyone by implying that they are in a position of importance. A few of these people may actually be, but who knows? No way to know for sure. However, by implying that you are in such a position, you have also indicated that you have a Conflict of Interest. As such, you should not be editing any articles related to Her Majesty's military or government. Please see the COI notice below for more info. Thank you. - wolf 23:53, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@PeterT29 - That is of no excuse. Sammartinlai (talk) 02:45, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Mackie doe not have access to promotion or movement lists to any of the service commands. You therefore have no right to fault him for any missing data. Sammartinlai (talk) 02:15, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 1st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Brigade. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges.

Added note
I realize you're new here, you just joined yesterday and you've only made seven (7) edits so far, but your editing has already become disruptive. The 'welcome' notice, along with the warnings that have been added to your talk page, have been placed here for a reason. Read through them all, carefully, and follow the links they contain, as they lead to important information. You need to realize that this project is governed by policies and guidelines and you need to adhere to them when editing. Editors that continue to disrupt the project, usually end up getting blocked. You don't want that, so slow down, pay attention and learn the rules. - wolf 23:41, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, PeterT29. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page 1st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Brigade, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted.
Note: Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest guidelines, especially before you edit any articles related to The military or government of the United Kingdom. Thank you
