Orphaned non-free image File:2.JG 1.png
Thanks for uploading File:2.JG 1.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 12:54, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Just an FYI
The message you left over at the main talk page for milhist concerning the FAC was in fact already up near the top of the talk page at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Military_history#Featured_article_candidacy_for_Organization_of_the_Luftwaffe_.281933.E2.80.931945.29_now_open. MBK is usually on top of the FAC, PR, and ACRs notifications. TomStar81 (Talk) 01:16, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- Its a wiki-wide problem, and in the case of the project I oversee its compounded by the fact that I manage a project with something like 100,000 articles with a group of roughly 1,000 editors, but of that 1,000 only about 100 or so are actively active, and out of that number only a dedicate 10-20 work reviews. For what its worth, you FAC is linked from both our review template and our main milhist template in addition to the messages left on the main talk page and the associated task force talk pages. I try and refrain from FAC since there typically exists a wider selection of editors who handle the reviews, but if you article hits the urgent FAC/FARC mark I will lend my two cents to the review if I have not already done so. Incidentally, if you can think of a way to drum up support for the reviews at any level do feel free to leave me a message; the coordinators (myself included) are open to evaluating any idea that gets us increased review stats. - Also, as to re-nomination. Doing it immediately will only lead to it being immediately removed again since there is a new rule at FAC that states that you must wait a minimum of two weeks before nominating another article after having one not promoted and you must fulfill any comments that were left outstanding from the non-promoted review. -MBK004 03:24, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- It probably did. I've been out of the loop for the last couple of days studying for my GRE and if the article happened to have gone critical at the point I would not have been a position to do anything about it. Wait two weeks and try again, I'll be one fo the first people to support it. TomStar81 (Talk) 23:04, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
