Walter Oesau

Some comments before the formal review starts. You may want to change the sentence "This was one of the greatest mistakes of Luftwaffe leadership." It is unsourced and may be subject to debate or POV. Secondly, the infobox uses the Spanish and German names for the awards. I have received comments about this. You may want to use the English term here and in the lead put the native name in italics and brackets next to the English term. I personally would like to see a short summary of career section detailing dates of rank and dates of awards. Potentially also list some major achievements. These are just ideas and are no musts. Hi.

You will no doubt have noticed the cowling of the aircraft in question is a Ju 52, so this belongs to a KGzbV transport squadron and not to a Kampfgeschwader. I think it it is the Stab. unit of KGzbV 9. They operated in the Med' at this time (the archive had got it wrong to suggest this was in Russia). I hope this helps. It is actually the 24-30 July. I thought you might have meant Big Weak as it is better known. I have really good sources for this. I don't think it is worthy of an article, but I can help on the JG article. What do you need? Dapi89 (talk) 15:37, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

I already added it. There is not much to tell during this week, in relation to just JG 11. I am however adding to the DOR article which I am now expanding. I have to be careful not to go into to much detail or the article will become a monster like the Luftwaffe article! Dapi89 (talk) 21:13, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
