Categories

[edit]

For some of your recent edits it looks like you have been over-categorising articles (eg this edit). Eg: putting an article in both Category:Clubs and societies in Australia and Category:Clubs and societies is overboard as the first category is the parent of the second category, and you just end up duplicating things and make Category:Clubs and societies really really full. Just a pointer for you - Wikipedia:Categorization and subcategories and Wikipedia:Categorization have a lot more info. Wongm (talk) 04:48, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed rename for List of American gentlemen's clubs

[edit]

You've made some good contributions to the 4-year-old article List of American gentlemen's clubs, which is a great list article. Though nobody's ever objected before, some people now are trying to change its title to "List of North American private social clubs." There's an ongoing discussion on that article's talk page. I thought you might want to put in your two cents. Clubwiki (talk) 17:35, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
