Question from BgdvTZJU on Democratic backsliding in Ethiopia (06:36, 31 July 2023)
Hi, I was reading this article and realized the content did not match the title and some information seems phrased to mislead, for instance "Thus, by 2019, Ethiopia was topped in 19 position out of 100 in Freedom in the World chart, signalized significant improvement from the past decades." When I looked at the chart, they received a score of 19 out of 100 and are rated not free, while the article makes it sound like they were in position 19. Is this something I should edit or mention in discussion? --BgdvTZJU (talk) 06:36, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @BgdvTZJU:! Firstly, sorry for the late reply. I was away from home and thus unable to properly review the article. I certainly agree with you that the sentence is misleading. In this scenario, you should be bold and edit the article yourself. Mentioning it on the talk is also a great idea. I have rewritten that sentence to be more accurate. Thank you for noticing this and I hope you continue to fact-check Wikipedia in the future! — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 23:18, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
Question from Debbylicious (14:06, 2 August 2023)
Hello --Debbylicious (talk) 14:06, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Debbylicious: Hi! Let me know if you have any questions about editing wikipedia — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 23:02, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @PerfectSoundWhatever, a page I created was moved to draftspace. However, I noticed that the references in the reference part of the article is no longer there. What's there is "Draft moved to mainspace" template. Please how do I retrieve my references? Debbylicious (talk) 09:23, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
- @Debbylicious: I can see all of the references— I'm not sure why you are unable to. When you visit Draft:Toyosi Etim-Effiong, not in edit mode, and scroll to the very bottom, the section is blank? — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 12:02, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
- Ok, I’ve seen it. Thank you. Debbylicious (talk) 15:32, 14 August 2023 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted
Hi PerfectSoundWhatever, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.
Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.
Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 23:30, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
