Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Percyfangirl44! I am Madhero88 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Diner Dash are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. - SummerPhD (talk) 12:40, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank-You for telling me. I will take your advice and use it. Thank You again. Percyfangirl44 (talk) 07:13, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:Zoe molina

[edit]

Hi there.

It's great that you welcomed a user on User talk:Zoe molina, however, there were a couple of problems. I think that you probably used copy-and-paste, so, the links did not work, and the 'helpme' was actually on the page - the big 'I have a question' box was appearing.

Also, you added a non-free picture, and they cannot be used on user pages.

In future, the best thing to do is, use a 'welcome' template - you would put, for example. {{subst:welcome}} (and then sign with ~~~~. That will add a 'standard' welcome on their page, and all the links will work.

You could make a test page of your own - User:Percyfangirl44/test - and try it on there.

For more help, you can either;

  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.

The last of those is particularly useful - please try it; pop in now and say hello. Cheers!  Chzz  ►  03:03, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Percyfangirl44, welcome to the Percy Jackson Task Force (PJTF)! We aim to create and improve articles related to the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. Feel free to post ideas at the PJTF General forums and look at our To Do list for things to do. We are currently aiming to make The Battle of the Labyrinth a good article; you can help! Add {{Wikipedia:PJTF/Update}} to your userpage to keep up with the latest PJTF news. Happy editing, mono 00:06, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcoming users

[edit]

Hello Percyfangirl44, I'm Airplaneman. I saw you welcoming users; great! It might be a little less tedious if you used a tool, called Friendly, for that. It lets you welcome users in all sorts of ways. It's really great to see a new user contributing positively; the overwhelming majority of them that I see are not here to help. Happy editing! Survey

[edit]

A new user asked for help in getting some Wikipedians to complete this survey - anonymous, and only for research. If you have a few spare minutes, perhaps you could complete it. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  06:08, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Hello to you, too!!! PercyFanGirl44 CHAT 08:35, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Percyfangirl44! Thanks for being a part of the Percy Jackson Task Force here on Wikipedia. We're cleaning up our list of members; the project would like to make sure all members listed are participating. Therefore, we're holding a roll call for the members of the Percy Jackson Task Force and appreciate your help by acting quickly. Before you confirm your membership, you'll want to look over the obligations for members. In order to remain a member, you must:

  • Contribute to the current PJTF collaboration and Percy Jackson articles constructively. A minimum of 10 (constructive) edits on Percy Jackson topics per month is required for members.
  • Be generally active in the affairs of the WikiProject (watchlist and participate in the General Forums, vote at AfDs, keep up with vandalism, and more).

Additionally, consider adding {{WP:PJTF/Update}} and {{Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Outreach/User Percy Jackson task force}} to your userpage for project updates and to show off your membership. We hope you're still active and interested, as the Percy Jackson Task Force is looking for more contributions from members. Also, check out ways to help the project. Thanks!

Nintendo task force membership update

[edit]

It's that time again to update membership status with the Nintendo task force, which we periodically do to keep our membership up-to-date.

All participants have been placed on an "Inactive participants" list. To confirm that you're still a member of the Nintendo task force, simply go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Nintendo#Members and move your name from the "Inactive participants" list to the bottom of the "Active participants" list. If you are no longer an active member in the task force, you may simply remove your name altogether. On 23 December, all entries under the "Inactive participants" list will be removed. Hopefully you can stay with us and continue to work on Nintendo-related articles. Regards, MuZemike delivered by MuZebot 17:23, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Percyfangirl44, I'm starting the article for "Till the World Ends". However, the song isn't notable enough to have an article (right now), so I'm collecting all the info that I can to edit the article later when the song enter on any chart... If you can help, I would be very grateful! Thanks! :) - Sauloviegas (talk) 02:06, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New Challenge for Oceania and Australia

[edit]

Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/The 5000 Challenge are up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. The Australia challenge would feed into the wider region one and potentially New Zealand could have a smaller challenge too. The main goal is content improvement, tackling stale old stubs and important content and improving sourcing/making more consistent but new articles are also welcome if sourced. I understand that this is a big goal for regular editors, especially being summertime where you are, but if you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Oceania and Australia like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1700 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for the region but fuelled by a series of contests to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. The Africa contest scaled worldwide would naturally provide great benefits to Oceania countries, particularly Australia and attract new editors. I would like some support from existing editors here to get the Challenges off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile and potentially bring about hundreds of improvements in a few weeks through a contest! Cheers.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:12, 24 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
