Status and Advice
[edit]the article has not been deleted, but there appear to be two serious problems.
A Wikipedia article needs to show have references, to show where the information came from.
Then, a Wikipedia article may not be copied from a web site or prior publication, even your own -- first it's a copyright violation, but, even if you own the copyright and are willing to give us permission according to WP:DCM, the tone will not be encyclopedic and the material will not be suitable. As is the case here--it's not in our format , and has somewhat too much detail. Include only material that would be of interest to a general reader coming across the mention of the subject and wanting the sort of information that would be found in an encyclopedia. Do not include material that would be of interest only to those associated with the subject, or to prospective or current students or alumni.
As for the list of alumni, include only those with a Wikipedia article -- including a link to the article -- or obviously qualified for one according to WP:BIO . Do not make value judgments, such as "Arellano High School has never failed to render the best service to its students," Just give the information.
I advise you to fix the problems, and do this very quickly, before the article gets nominated for deletion by a regular deletion process. DGG ( talk ) 19:41, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
The article Arellano High School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No sources, couldn't find good sources - seems to fail WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Lurking shadow (talk) 11:25, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
