Obverse/reverse info in article ledes

[edit]

I noticed that you keep adding/changing currency article ledes to include obverse/reverse design info. I thank you for trying to make constructive edits, we do not usually have a description of the currect design of currency in the lede unless the article is for a specific design (such as Lincoln cent). Designs change, and previous designs are still legal tender (at least in the US), so it is not a good idea to have current design descriptions in the lede as other designs may still circulate (the most relevant example of this is the US quarter, which has had over a hundred designs since 1999, all of which still circulate). - ZLEA T\C 17:46, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
