Please help me with... How do I change the auto-populating information on a book I cite frequently? For example, when I try to cite it, the information is incomplete and formatted incorrectly. The source in question is here: [1] Penndyl (talk) 14:44, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
- Other than having "author" in the
|last=
parameter instead of|last=Beers
, what information is incomplete or otherwise incorrect? To me it looks okay. More information about referencing books can be found at the template itself, {{cite book}}, as well as WP:REFB (though the latter is more for general assistance). If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Replaceable fair use File:Wanda Williams.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Wanda Williams.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 12:35, 25 March 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, Penndyl
Thank you for creating Kipona.
User:North8000, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Good start. While doing my review I noticed that it seems short on sources for the festival itself and the type of coverage that would be derived from such sources. I did a search and many more sources exist. I marked it as reviewed. Happy editing1

Pennsylvania Paper & Supply
[edit]Hello. I just created Draft:Pennsylvania Paper & Supply Company about the company used in the opening credits of the Office. Would you mind taking a look and letting me know if it's ok? Or, if it is, could you move it to the mainspace? Thank so much for your help.Coffee312 (talk) 21:10, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

maplink in infoboxes
[edit]Hey there. I noticed an inventive bit of syntax you had applied in [1]. Sadly it deviated from the specification and caused an error when we finally implemented coordinate parsing into an embedded mapframe :) For the record, please refer to current {{infobox settlement}} documentation when you want to add more maps in the future. --Joy (talk) 23:26, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
