Thank you! It's really nice to get a welcome. I'm really picking up the basics of Wikipedia editing as I go along. I don't know quite how the talk pages work yet for instance. I hope you see that I replied to you... Pen Lewins (talk) 20:45, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
Hi, Pen Lewins, welcome and thanks for your note on the Louverture article. I restored your deletion of the paragraph on Hedouville; had looked at the article too fast and didn't realize that you had more on him in the section below. It's a good idea to tell in the "Edit summary" what you're doing, and/or to put it on the Talk page for the article, as people are often tracking established articles and notice especially when sourced material is deleted. I hope you enjoy Wikipedia; I think it's a great opportunity to add to knowledge, and you know you have readers!Parkwells (talk) 13:23, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
- It's great that you'll be adding material from your travels; Wikipedia is looking for more articles about places outside the US and Europe.Parkwells (talk) 16:41, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
