Delivering Proper Credit
[edit]Hi! I'd like to use some of your music in a video I'm creating for a nonprofit organization. How do you prefer to be credited? Also, might I suggest specifying that somewhere either on your page or the page of the file itself? As of now it simply says the boilerplate "You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor" Hibou08 (talk) 18:04, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
Hello Hibou08,
Thank you for your considerate message. It's so unusual for someone to actually use proper attribution etiquette these days that I hadn't given it much thought.
You can just credit me as 'Peet' if you like. Or if you prefer to, you can use my full name 'Pete Hudson'. I'm happy to leave it to your discretion.
I will pop a note to this effect onto my user page as you suggest. I'd also like to wish you the very best of luck with your project.
