Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Pedropinhata. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Daniel Rensch, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;

- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

- Thank you for the heads up, @SVTCobra! I'm sorry I didn't do this earlier, I wasn't aware I needed to do it and thought staying factual (always providing citations) and avoiding advertising was enough. I'm having a little bit of trouble using the COI template as I'm not sure how to link to the contributions I've made to that specific article. - I appreciate your efforts to keep things as factual and objective as possible. Thanks. You might have noticed, I have not found reason to undo any of your edits, so that's a great sign. As far as your trouble with disclosure, if you use Template:Paid will allow you to disclose your employer and any articles for which a potential COI exists. You do not have to link the specific edits you have made in the past. Just put that template on your user page on which you can, of course, include other information about yourself and your role.
