Drawings
[edit]Hi, thank you for the drawings. Always nice when there is someone helping out with all the work that is still to be done in chemistry. May I ask you to drop by at Wikipedia:WikiProject Chemistry and Wikipedia:WikiProject Chemicals, that is a project where you can find people with similar interests. For images there is even a special page Wikipedia:WikiProject Chemistry/Image Request. You could also have a chat with Ben Mills, he is very active in drawing pictures (but there are more at the image-request page). Hope to see you around, have a nice day! And again, welcome! --Dirk Beetstra T C 22:18, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I forgot. You could have a look at the explanation in {{chembox}} about how that infobox handles images and other data. The coding behind it is quite difficult, but the actual use is quite easy. Hope this helps. --Dirk Beetstra T C 22:20, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Salts and highly polar compounds are not molecules!
[edit]Great to see you contributing to Wikipedia. One thing about Wikipedia is that we all learn from each other. Here is something that you might not know - salts are not molecules. Lithium amide and sodium thiocyanate are not molecules. These species have far more complicated structures. One of our fellow editors User:Benjah-bmm27 is an expert on depicting these species - take a look at his work. So please reconsider drawing non-molecular species as monomers. --Smokefoot 23:03, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Proposal Lighting
[edit]You have placed a WP proposal on the community portal. The community portal is only meant for created projects. I have taken your proposal down from the community portal. I will be forced to warn you if you do that again. If you have any questions just contact me. Irunongames • play 15:06, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

ZnEt2
[edit]If you are going to continue to update Diethyl zinc, the more powerful and impactful approach is to focus on general references, such as textbooks, reviews, and monographs. Although not always perfectly applicable, Wikipedia recommends references to such secondary sources, WP:SECONDARY. There are several reviews on the topic, probably several thousand primary journal articles, which would be impractical to cite. With best wishes, --Smokefoot (talk) 03:56, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:LiNH2.gif has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
