The Brain Gym article

[edit]

Hi, just a quick message explaining my edits to the Brain Gym article you reverted. I'm a little new to Wikipedia like you (my friend got me into it a few months back) so it's possible I might have made some sort of formatting mistake while editing; if I have please let me know. I made the edits to the page because I thought the article as it was is a little "addy" in that some phrases seemed to be quite misleading to someone who hadn't read any of the actual sources (the phrase, "most of the pilot studies and case studies mentioned above were done independently, voluntarily, and without grants, and did not have the benefit of peer review" especially seemed like an attempt to cover up the fact that the program has never submitted itself for peer review; in my opinion just saying it's never been subjected to peer review worked much better in that case). There were also a few other examples of advertising language thoughout the article, such as "anecdotal stories from around the world as to how people are using the activities to create dynamic learning" which were added back after I took them out. The third paragraph especially gave the impression that it was only the 1994 version of Brain Gym that was being criticised, and that any criticisms of it were responded to in the 2010 version, which is sadly not the case. Again, I'm pretty new to Wikipedia so if there's any other reason you reverted my edits without an explanation then please leave a message on my talk page. Thanks,
