This user is a student editor in Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/Portland_State_University/Byzantine_Art_(Fall_2017). Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article. |
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Pcharity, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Image copyright
[edit]Hi - I received a notification that the images you uploaded to Wikimedia Commons were deleted as a copyright violation, especially as it had no information about the image's copyright license. All images are considered to be copyrighted under a non-compatible license unless it's explicitly marked as being in the public domain or released under a compatible Creative Commons license. If no copyright is shown, we have to assume that it cannot be added.
I would like for you to go over the module on adding images and media, thanks. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:21, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
